I have to congratulate the organisers of Maya - Language of Beauty in Verona for the permission of taking no-flash images which permits us to compare its artefacts with those of other Mayas and American pre-Hispanic cultures (see for example in this blog: Maya Code , Incas in Rosenheim). The deep impression I received is that the essential soul of Maya resided in their phantasy which given form and populated space, time as well as their writing with horrid, cruel otherwise invisible, non-existing creatures. Please have a look to the images and tell me your opinion.
